About This Event
In mixed doubles Teqball, a pair consisting of one male and one female athlete alternate shots, creating a fast, tactical and highly entertaining format. Players can touch the ball up to three times before it must cross the net. The curved table creates unpredictable bounce angles that reward players with strong football technique.
Format
Pairs compete in a group phase before knockout rounds lead to the final. Each set is played to 12 points with a 2-point advantage rule, best of three sets per match. Service alternates every four points.
Nations to Watch
China and South Korea field the strongest mixed doubles pairings in Asia, having competed together on the FITEQ World Series circuit since 2022. Japan and Thailand are also strong contenders in this exciting debut format.
