About This Event
Teqball was invented in Hungary in 2012 and uses a specially curved table on which players volley a football using any body part except arms and hands. The 2026 Asian Games is Teqball’s debut on the Asian Games programme, a major step in the sport’s journey toward Olympic recognition.
Format
The Women’s Singles event follows a group stage into direct elimination rounds. Matches are best-of-three sets to 12 points with a two-point advantage rule. The gold medal match is a single-game final watched by a packed arena.
