About This Event
Women’s 10m Air Pistol requires the same one-handed shooting technique as the men’s event, shot from a standing position at 10 metres. Format
60 qualification shots select 8 finalists. The final uses an elimination format — after each scoring phase, the lowest-ranked shooter is removed until one winner remains. The format creates compelling drama as elimination pressure mounts through the competition.
