Archery Competition Schedule
The first day of the Archery tournament is purely a qualification day, in which the players determine their ranking and qualify for the elimination stage of the competition.
The competition consists of an archers’ qualification session in the morning and evening before the actual competition, and requires the recurve and compound archers to shoot in line with the official competition schedule. Each athlete will have to go through the ranking round before moving on to the knockout round.
Competition Format
The first day is dedicated to the qualification stage for all competitors.
- Every athlete shoots 72 arrows.
- Recurve archers compete at 70 metres.
- Compound archers compete at 50 metres.
- The highest cumulative score earns the No. 1 overall seed.
- Rankings are used to create the official elimination brackets.
