Events Taking Place

Women’s Synchronized 3m Springboard Final
The female pairs dive from the 3-metre springboard together. The teams are judged on execution, synchronization, the degree of difficulty and entry into water. The player(s) with the highest aggregate scores get the gold medal.
Men’s Synchronized 10m Platform Final
Diving pairs of men compete from the 10-metre platform with dives, which are very difficult and high in level of precision, which involve control over the body and timing. Judging by each routine is done by an international panel of judges and medals are a cumulative score.
Competition Format
The opening day features direct gold medal finals in synchronized diving.
The final consists of some dives required and optional to be carried out by each pair. Judges assess each dive technically and also consider how closely the two athletes synchronise their dives in the routine.
