Asian Games 2026 Rowing 1st event – 20 Sep

Asia Games 2026 rowing event will officially start in 20th September 2026 at Kaizu, Nagaragawa International Regatta Course, Japan. The first day of the heats and various boat classes of rowing teams from around Asia will kick off on the first day.

A full competition format will be used to compete over the 5 days with the medal races to be held on 24 September 2026. It is one of the most competitive sports events related to water sports of the Asian Games, in which the high rowing countries from Asia get together.

Rowing Competition

Preliminary rounds will open on 20 September 2026, will feature a series of complements for teams to compete for the next round and will be open throughout the entire day for both opening and closing days. The athletes will compete in a series of eliminations competitive races over five days, until the winners are determined through the final races for medals.
