About This Event
Mixed Synchronised Platform Diving pairs one male and one female athlete diving simultaneously from the 10m platform. Both divers must perform identical dives in perfect synchronisation — judges score both execution quality and synchronisation between the pair. The visual impact of two divers in perfect harmony from 10 metres creates one of the most spectacular moments in the Asian Games aquatics programme.
Format
Pairs perform a series of synchronised dives — typically 6 dives including required elements. Judges score execution of each dive separately and award synchronisation marks reflecting timing, body position matching, and entry harmony. The pair with the highest combined score wins gold.
