Competition Rules

Diving Finals at Asian Games will be conducted according to World Aquatics’ regulations.

  • There are qualification rounds that precede the finals, and those who make the cut into the finals come from those rounds.
  • Some acts in the pool of dives are predetermined, and the Finalist runs through them.
  • The dive scores are given by an international Judging panel.
  • Judges score for take off, flight, execution, position of body, and entry into the water.
  • Each dive will present a certain level of difficulty which will determine the value of the dive.
  • The winner of the Gold medal is the athlete with the highest of all the scores.
