Men’s Indoor Volleyball Schedule
One of the most important competition days of the men’s indoor volleyball is Sept. 28th. There will be several preliminary matches going on at once in both the official arenas, providing a fun-filled program from morning till evening.
The day’s competition includes:
- Morning Session – Opening pool-stage matches.
- Afternoon Session – Additional group fixtures across all pools.
- Evening Session – Key matches that could shape the race for quarterfinal qualification.
Competition Format
The men’s indoor volleyball competition starts with a round-robin, after which every team in every pool plays every other team in that pool once. Match results determine the competition points awarded to teams, and after the completion of all group matches, the standings determine team performance.
Match Format
- Games are played to the best of five sets.
- The first 4 sets play until 25.
- If the game is tied 2–2, then a fifth set is played to 15 points to determine the winner.
- Each set needs to be won by two points or more.
