Men’s Speed Individual Final

The Men’s Speed Individual Final features Asia’s fastest male climbers competing in a series of knockout races. After advancing through qualification and elimination rounds, the finalists race head-to-head on the official speed wall, where the fastest climber wins the Asian Games gold medal.

Women’s Speed Individual Final

The top female rock climbers from around the world compete in knockout rounds and then face the gold medal match in the Women’s Speed Individual Final all in the same exciting format. Every second of a second can be decisive for determining the champion in one of the fastest events of the Games.

Competition Format

The Sport Climbing – Speed Individual event at the Asian Games 2026 will follow the IWGA practice of adhering to the rules of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC). Men’s Speed Individual and Women’s Speed Individual will include Qualification and Knockout stages, then finish with bronze and gold, on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
