Competition Format
The Asian Games 2026 Track Cycling event will race on Friday 2 October 2026, with the final four events of the gold medal contests in the Keirin and Madison disciplines. Cyclists are filtered into the top performers and teams of the preliminary rounds to advance to the championship finals before making it to the medal races.
Madison is a 2-rider team event where endurance and tactics both are rewarded. Riders race alternately in the manner of ‘hand-sling exchanges’ and earn points during middle sprints.
