PV Sindhu beats Hina Akechi to set up French Open final against An Se-young

India’s PV Sindhu beat Japan’s Hina Akechi 21-10, 20-22, 21-16 in 73 minutes to reach the women’s singles final of the French Open, a BWF Super 750 event in Paris. She faces South Korea’s world No. 1 An Se-young in the final on Sunday, 25 October 2026.
