About This Event
The 4×100m relay rewards sprinting speed and flawless baton exchanges. Japan’s relay programme is world-class — their men’s team has set multiple Asian records and competed at the highest global level.
Format
Teams of four athletes each run approximately 100m. Baton must be passed within a 20m exchange zone. Dropping the baton or exchanging outside the zone results in disqualification.
