Trampoline Gymnastics sees athletes bounce on a competition trampoline to heights of up to 10 metres, performing a sequence of 10 skills involving twists and somersaults. Qualification rounds determine the 8 finalists. The final consists of one routine of 10 linked skills. Scores combine difficulty, execution (deductions for poor body position), time of flight measured electronically, and a penalty for excessive horizontal displacement. The highest combined score wins gold.
